We enjoyed our stay there. Very convenient to all Surfers Paradise and in walking distance to beach and shops. Car parking provided and good level of security. The view was excellent and pool and Spa were great. we played tennis and enjoyed the facilities. it is not a Hotel so it was quiet and the rooms were quiet, did not hear other guests at all. a reaally great place to stay. Our children made the usual amount of noise but it didnt seem to disturb others. The noise deadening in the structure worked well.
Location was excellent. Close to central Surfer's Paradise for shopping/beach/dining. Great Customer Service.......Due to a fridge malfunction upon our arrival, staff were more than happy to offer a choice of three other rooms to move into for our stay. Views from Room 25A were magnificent.
Our initial Room 27A was slightly old and tired and could do with a bit of freshening up and refurbishing......although the view was just as magnificent as Room 25A.
It's location in surfers paradise is almost perfect. Good proximity to seaside, cavill street, surfers bvld, local buses route, etc The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Enjoyed our stay there
My biggest gripe is that there's no air-conditioning in the rooms. We're fortunate to have gotten a high floor, 24th so the cool breeze helps a lot. Wouldn't wanna stay there in the summer tho. Plus the carpet feels like its not been vacuumed for some time.
Location, views were fantastic, apartment was roomy, spacious and clean and the pool facilities were great.
The fact that you had to have your keys on you all the time to get to your apartment in the lift, into the pools. My husband surfed so I had to meet him downstairs at a set time all the time to get him back upstairs.
our room was recently re-furbished and great
the foyer and indoor pool are a bit dated
The closeness to the beach and the size of the apartment (except the second bedroom). The security was good and the underground parking was great. The furnature was old but it would appear they are planning to upgrade. The apartment was comfortable.
The area is very noisy in the morning with rubbish trucks starting at about 6am! Hard to sleep past then as they seemed to come back time and time again. The main bedroom only had very, very light curtains with no blockout - unlike the second room. They started renovations on the 4th day we were there so from about 9am there was banging and noise until about 4.30pm. It would have been good to have been told that when we booked and given the option of contiuing with the booking. We were forced to go out for the day as they were jack hammering right above our room!!! Not really ideal for a family with young children needing day sleeps. I do think that if they are doing renovations they should tell people before they confirm bookings and offer discounts for the inconvenience.
The apartment was really spacious and homely. Enjoyed the spectacular views from the beautiful balconies - we watched the sun rise in the morning and we watched the sunset in the evenining. Loved the heated pool for the evenings and the outside pool during the lovely hot days. Enjoyed the short walk to the fabulous beaches. The apartment was lovely and clean so we could just relax. Very close to bus stops and lovely eateries, and great shopping! Will book again in a heart beat.
My daughter and I were stuck in a lift when there was a power outage. The lift went into total darkness and it felt like we dropped a few meters. This was a terrifying experience. When speaking to the staff they assured us that we were safe and that that is normal - I think you should advise visitors that this could happen and that they should not panick - if I had a weak heart I would most certainly have had a heart attack in that lift as we are not use to high rise apartments and my first thought was that the lift cable had snapped and that we were going to fall to our death!
The staff were excellent and helpful and was a very good price and location
Needs a renovation on certain areas, just some TLC wouldn't go astray
great views from all angles of the ocean, beach and inland.
Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to stay in the Gold Coast. Can't wait to be back!!!!
It was OK. Close to the beach. Good facilities and quite clean. Views were great. It was what we needed, a basic apartment to base ourselves while we travelled around.
Kitchen and amenities were quite old. Hot tap didn't work and kitchen cupboards smelt. The rusty can opener is a health hazard. From the photos on the internet it looked like all the apartments had been refurbished, all except the one we stayed in. Noisy neighbourhood, but I guess you can't help that.
The size of the apartment was more than we expected. The pool area was lovely. We didn't expect the beach to be so close.
It is very noisy in the mornings, but then we are used to a quiet cul de sac! Not being able to get into the pool until we had checked in. The check in time is too late.
Great sized apartment close to all amenities and resturants. Good value for money.
The apartments amenities are getting tired and/or are broken. Just needs a bit of an upgrade to make it fantastic.
Staff were fantastic in regards to assistance and friendliness. Clean facilities eg. Tennis court and pools.
Terrible showers - no pressure
The location and the views.
Rooms and building itself are dated. Furniture was grubby and smelly. Kitchen utensils grubby. Doors and walls were marked, or broken off hinges.
